Da-Tel has the personnel to engineer a system or product to your specifications. Our expertise lies in the analog/digital mixed signal technology areas. We know filters, amplifiers, logic systems, telephony, and microcontrollers such as the 68HC705 series. We understand power systems and are familiar with the problems of substations and power plants. When you are understaffed, have deadlines to meet, or just need expert communications support, Da-Tel can assist in developing your product or design and build your system. We have products that telemeter over dedicated telephone lines, dial-up telephone lines, fiber optic lines, microwaves and others.
Da-Tel has a complete facility for through-hole circuit board assembly. From purchasing of the components to conformal coating of the boards, Da-Tel can do it all. All of our boards go through two quality checks before being shipped to ensure the best products to our customers.
Da-Tel has a complete precision sheet metal shop. We work with steel, aluminum and copper. Our capabilities are precision bending, cutting, punching and welding. We can also install specialized hardware to minimize assembly time. All parts can be finish sanded, anodized, powder coated, zinc plated, or to your specifications.

Tri-State Generation and Transmission of Denver, CO came to Da-Tel for our G-8945 Transfer-Trip System, but needed it housed in an enclosure that could be pad mounted. Choosing a Hennessy outdoor enclosure, Da-Tel documented and interconnected a control panel and two SEL devices with other Da-Tel components inside the cabinet.
Consolidated Edison of New York contracted with Da-Tel to automate steam valve status and control at 16 remote sites controlled by two networked master computers. Steam valve controls with integrated power control devices and an RTU also provide information and allow modulation of the steam valves. This system required custom software built to ConEd specifications. The system has been in place and operating since early 1995.
